About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Applied & Computational Topology & Geometry (ACTG) publishes high-quality research papers at the intersection of computational mathematics and geometric/topological methods, with a particular focus on algorithmic and applied aspects of algebraic geometry and algebraic topology. The journal particularly encourages submissions that bridge theoretical foundations with practical applications, and those that make sophisticated mathematical tools more accessible to applied researchers.
Free for Authors and Readers
ACTG is a Diamond Open Access journal, meaning the journal is completely free to authors as well as completely free to readers. In particular this means that there are no charges to authors publishing in the journal and that all journal content is freely available without charge to any reader or their institution. Articles in the journal may be freely read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, or linked to, or used for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
Copyright Policy
The copyright for articles in this journal is retained by the author(s), with publication rights granted to the journal. Permission to distribute articles is given under a Creative Commons License (in particular Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)). Hence, authors retain the copyright of their papers without any restrictions and grant the publisher the right to publish the article first, as well as other non-exclusive publishing rights.
Peer Review Policies
To be published in ACTG papers must be of high quality, and in particular be new, correct, and significant while covering topics within the aims and scope of the journal. All published articles in ACTG have been peer reviewed using a single-blind peer review process, overseen by editors and conducted by independent referees. Journal editors may reject a paper which they find to be unsuitable for publication at any point during the review process. The journal, along with its editorial board, follows the American Mathematical Society's Ethical Guidelines for publications: https://www.ams.org/about-us/governance/policy-statements/sec-ethics

We also ask that all individual co-authors accept equal responsibility for ensuring the integrity, originality, and correctness of the submitted work.
Sponsorship Disclosure
ACTG is published by the Association for Mathematical Research.
History
ACTG was founded by the Association for Mathematical Research and its initial Editorial Board in 2025.
